JAMESTOWN — Eventide Jamestown Senior Living Apartments was named Best Assisted Living Facility in the Best of the Jamestown Area. Placing second was SMP Health - Ave Maria, and placing third was the Heritage Centre.
Eventide Jamestown Senior Living Apartments has 43 apartments and is located at 114 12th Ave. NE.
“It’s definitely an honor and reassuring to receive this award,” said Jackson Johnsrud, executive director. “Residents and families are always very supportive and grateful for the services they receive at Eventide. It’s great to know that our hard work is being noticed above and beyond the Eventide community.”
Amenities offered at Eventide Jamestown Senior Living Apartments include restaurant-style dining, a wellness center, hair salon, emergency call system, transportation to appointments and an events and activity calendar that includes exercise classes, canvas painting classes, live music and more.
Johnsrud said they often hear their residents and their families talk about what a “great place” the Eventide community is and how much they enjoy the food and not having to cook or do dishes. Along with restaurant-style dining, each apartment is also equipped with a full kitchen if residents want to cook or bake.

Residents also appreciate the security of the facility.
“We have nursing staff on site and we do wellness checks each morning,” Johnsrud said.
Activities, music and events are also popular, he said.
Eventide Jamestown Senior Living Apartments opened in 2017 and has modern amenities and décor.
“Our visitors comment on what a warm, homelike environment we offer,” Johnsrud said. “ It’s a really friendly place to live for when seniors want a place where they can enjoy life and let us do the work.”
