Ex-football player pleads guilty in N.D. theft ring

FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- A former North Dakota State football player has pleaded guilty to theft in connection with a theft ring at a Best Buy store in Fargo.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- A former North Dakota State football player has pleaded guilty to theft in connection with a theft ring at a Best Buy store in Fargo.

Greg Reid Jr. entered the plea Tuesday. In exchange, he was give a suspended jail sentence and probation.

Reid is among 12 people charged with taking as much as $150,000 in merchandise from the store between September and February.

The former defensive tackle was thrown off the Bison team after his arrest.
