FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- About 250 people turned out for a farewell reception for outgoing North Dakota State University President Joseph Chapman.
The event was held Wednesday at Memorial Union on campus. Banners signed by supporters said, ``Thank you for 11 years of leadership and Joe-mentum.'
Chapman said he couldn't have made a difference at NDSU without the support of many people.
Chapman is stepping down at the end of the month, after criticism of his spending. He's been the school's president since 1999.
