FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- The Fargo School District's top financial administrator is stepping down to take a similar job with a district in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
Dan Huffman has been assistant superintendent for business services for Fargo schools since November 1992. He recently was questioned by school board members for financial management decisions regarding overspending on software but says it did not factor into his decision.
Huffman says he has family and personal reasons for his decision. Superintendent Rick Buresh says Huffman was not asked or pressured to resign.
Buresh says a replacement should be named within a couple of months.
