Katie Fediuk has signed a Dakota Athletic Conference letter of intent to play volleyball and softball for Jamestown College.

Fediuk, a 5-11 middle blocker in volleyball and a catcher in softball, helped Dauphin High to a bronze medal at the volleyball provincial championships. She was named a Manitoba graduating all-star and to the 2007 Manitoba Provincial summer volleyball team. She finished her senior season with 297 kills, 61 blocks, 171 digs and 116 aces. She was also named her softball team's most improved player this past spring.

"Katie brings good size and strength to the front court," said Chris Mahoney. "She has a huge heart and appears to be committed to maxing out her potential. Katie is a wonderful leader and a great all-around addition to our college campus."

The daughter of Terry and Donna Fediuk, Katie plans to major in Radiology Technology/Science at Jamestown College.
