A Pontiac Grand Prix car was damaged by a fire Tuesday afternoon, according to the Jamestown Fire Department.
The department was called out to a car fire at 805 6th Ave. SE at 3:31 p.m. Tuesday, according to JFD Lt. Sheldon Mohr. He said 25 firefighters and four units went to the scene. The car fire was partially extinguished when firefighters arrived on scene. Mohr said firefighters finished putting the fire out. The cause of the fire was undetermined.
Mohr said the car is owned by Farrell Hodges and Linda Anderson. Firefighters were on scene for about a half hour, Mohr said.

The Jamestown Police Department is investigating the accident.
The competition is in February, and other activities are slated over 4 days.
Grant funds up to $75,000 are available through the Garrison Diversion Conservancy District.
