I am writing about 10-year-old Brittney Hetletvedt's letter. This little lady thinks I should move my truck out of my yard so it isn't damaged by fireworks. I don't pay my taxes on my property to move my truck just because children want to play with fireworks. There is a saying: a man's home is his castle.
Another thing Brittney doesn't know is how much damage you can do with fireworks. One thing kids do is throw firecrackers under cars and at people. One kid I know is deaf due to the loud crack from fireworks. Using fireworks around gas stations is not too smart, and fireworks can also start grassfires. Bismarck, Williston, California, Fargo and Minneapolis are cities where fireworks are outlawed. I am also writing a letter to the city council about this.
