Andrew Fischer has been invited to participate in the Red River Valley Writing Project as a summer fellow. The RRVWP institute is being held July 9-Aug. 1 at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. Fischer teaches seventh to 12th grade English at Kensal High School in Kensal.
The Red River Valley Writing Project is a site of the National Writing Project (NWP), a professional development program devoted to the teaching of writing. The NWP is a federally-funded nationwide program that works to improve student writing abilities by improving the teaching and learning of writing in the nation's schools. The NWP provides professional development programs for classroom teachers and expands the professional roles of teachers.
