FARGO (AP) -- The news director at The Forum newspaper in Fargo-Moorhead has been named editor of the Bemidji Pioneer.
The Forum reported that Steve Wagner will assume his new duties on Oct. 24. He will succeed Editor Molly Miron, who retired Friday.
Wagner holds a degree in mass communications from North Dakota State University. He has more than 15 years of experience in journalism, including 13 years at The Forum as a reporter and editor. He will be 39 when he assumes the Pioneer post.
Both the Bemidji and Fargo newspapers are owned by Forum Communications Co.
