The Jamestown Community Foundation recently awarded a $1,360 grant to the Heritage Centre of Jamestown to assist with its purchase of an automatic door opening system for the front entrance of the Sunrise apartment section.
The Heritage Centre is a nonprofit senior assisted-living community, which provides support services to enable individuals to thrive in a home-like setting while still maintaining a high degree of independence.
