Four convicted of felonies

Four people were convicted on felony charges in Southeast District Court in Jamestown.

Heidi Mae Kraft, 23, 907 Thomas Ave. NE #9, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, a Class C felony, and burglary, a Class B felony. She also pleaded guilty to assault and simple assault (domestic), both Class A misdemeanors.

Kraft was accused of beating a man and causing him to lose consciousness on June 10, as well as willfully causing bodily injury to another individual on July 17.

She was also accused of breaking an individual's window and assaulting that individual and another in an attempt to enter the home knowing she was not permitted in the house on Sept. 4. She was also accused of causing bodily injury to another individual that day -- Kraft's second domestic assault offense since 2007.

Judge John Greenwood sentenced Kraft to six months with 55 days credit for time served. She was ordered to serve two years supervised probation and is to pay $650 criminal administration fee, $400 defense/facility administration fee, $300 indigent recoupment and $25 victim-witness fee.

A Class B felony is punishable by a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. A Class C felony is punishable by a maximum of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.

Joann Schneider, 61, 501 Holiday Park Village, pleaded guilty to issuing a check with nonsufficient funds, a Class C felony. She was accused of writing a check to a Jamestown business without having sufficient funds or credit.

Judge John Greenwood ordered Schneider to not possess or own firearms or use alcohol excessively. She is to submit to fingerprints and pay $1,109 restitution.

Heather Ann Klose, 20, West, N.D., pleaded guilty to criminal conspiracy, a Class B felony, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor, and Prohibited Acts A/controlled substances, a Class B misdemeanor. She was accused of conspiring with others to deliver marijuana on April 4.

Judge John Greenwood sentenced Klose to 30 days at the Stutsman County Corrections Center. She was ordered to serve two years supervised probation. Klose is to obtain a chemical dependency evaluation. She is to pay $650 criminal administration fee, $100 defense/facility administration fee, $25 indigent defense application fee, $300 indigent recoupment and $25 victim-witness fee. Klose is not to possess or own firearms.

Matthew Duane Netterville, 22, Jamestown, pleaded guilty to simple assault and contact by bodily fluids or excrement, both Class C felonies, as well as simple assault and three counts of criminal mischief, all Class A misdemeanors.

Netterville is accused of intentionally causing damage to a glass door valued at more than $100 but less than $2,000 on June 24. He was also accused of biting and punching an emergency medical services worker and spitting upon a police officer that same day.

Judge Thomas Merrick sentenced Netterville to one year at the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation with 56 days credit for time served. Netterville was ordered to serve two years supervised probation. He is not to possess or own firearms. Netterville is to pay $400 criminal administration fee, $100 defense/facility administration fee, $25 indigent defense application fee, $300 indigent recoupment, $25 victim-witness fee and $1,993 restitution.
