ELGIN, N.D. (AP) -- Towns in Grant County are taking turns turning 100.
Four communities are holding centennial celebrations this summer.
The events began last weekend in Elgin. This weekend, it's Carson's turn, to be followed by celebrations next weekend in New Leipzig and Raleigh.
The four towns sprang up along the Northern Pacific and Milwaukee Road railroads, which came through the area a century ago.
