Frieda Johannes Weixel, 91, of Billings, formerly of Ballantine and Jamestown, N. D., passed away?July 5, 2007, at Adult Home Care Services in Billings.
Frieda was born January 10, 1916, in Wishek, N. D., the daughter of Andreas and Sophia (Trautman) Reich. She grew up in Wishek and attended country school. She was married to Conrad Johannes on December 11, l936, in Ashley, ND. After their marriage they moved to Ballantine, MT, where they made their home for 38 years. After Conrad's death in 1975, she met and married Robert Weixel on August 14, l976, in Worden, MT, and they made their home in Jamestown, ND. She was a member of the Bethlehem Congregational Church in Worden and the First Baptist Church in Jamestown, ND.
Frieda was a hard worker and besides raising her three sons, she worked hard at helping with the farm chores. She also had a large number of step children and step great grandchildren that she loved and helped cared for in her second marriage.?
Survivors include her three sons and their wives, Kenneth (Joleen) Johannes of Worden, Norman (Polly) Johannes of Ballantine, and Nolan (Linda) Johannes of Worden; stepsons, Gene Weixel of Lisbon, ND, Robert Jr. (Linda) Weixel of Bismarck, ND, Richard (Glenna) Weixel of Portland, OR, Mark (Karen) Weixel of Camas, WA; stepdaughters, Althea (Bob) Booher of Punta Gorda, FL, Carol (Paul) Cuddihy of Vienna, VA, Mary Lou (LaVern) Radtke and Maryette Weixel, both of Jamestown, ND. 3 sisters, Irene Byrd, Katie Nafts,?and Tena (Chris) Christensen, all of Billings; six brothers, Phillip (Annetta) Reich of Billings, Emil (June) Reich of Boise, ID, August (Bea) Reich, Walter (Jean) Reich, Milton (Alice) Reich, all of Billings, and Andy Reich; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren and 8 great step grandchildren.?
Frieda was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Viola Robertus and Alvina Zentner and 2 brothers, Reinhold and Rueben Reich, her husbands Conrad Johannes?in l975 and Robert Weixel in 2004, and 1 great grandchild.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, July 10th, at Bethlehem Congregational Church in Worden. Viewing will begin at noon on Sunday at Smith Downtown Chapel, 925 So 27th. Interment will be at Pleasantview Cemetery in Ballantine. Memorials to the Bethlehem Congregational Church in Worden.
