A rural development grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture will help fund the operation of Jamestown Regional Entrepreneur Center, according to Katherine Roth, director of the center.

Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D., announced a total of $620,000 for eight North Dakota economic development agencies. The Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corp. received $63,000 which is earmarked for the Entrepreneur Center.

"It will support marketing and general operating costs," Roth said.

The Entrepreneur Center supports businesses in a nine-county area with training and counseling.

The Linton Industrial Development Corp. also received a grant of $46,600 to provide financial technical assistance for a local software development company.
