The Stutsman County Local Emergency Planning Committee reviewed the results of the Jamestown Regional Airport Exercise at its regular meeting Friday.

The exercise was conducted Aug. 5 and simulated an aircraft crash at the airport and the transportation of victims to Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Jerry Bergquist, Stutsman County emergency manager, said the exercise went well. Katie Hemmer, airport manager, said they planned to update some of the maps available to first responders regarding which gates to the airfield would be available for first responders.

The LEPC is planning an exercise with the National Guard Civil Support team prior to Nov. 15.

The next meeting of the LEPC will be at 9 a.m. on Dec. 6 at the Stutsman County Law Enforcement Center.
