The Stutsman County Commission went on record supporting the planned Bison World project at its regular meeting Tuesday.
The discussion began with a request from Interstate Engineering for any possible problems with county infrastructure or environmental issues that could come from the Bison World project.
Replying was optional and not replying would indicate the county commission saw no problems with the project.
The commission heard reports on the status of financial studies and engineering work for the project.
"Things are moving along," said Brian Lunde, one of the planners working on the project. "Apogee Attractions is finishing its work. We could provide a full project proposal in the next couple of months for vetting."
The discussion by the commission noted that Stutsman County wasn't providing infrastructure or otherwise involved with the project and could have not replied to the request for comments.
However, the commission voted unanimously to go on the record as supporting the project.
