PARK RAPIDS, Minn. -- The omnibus hearings for two Park Rapids men charged in a slew of cabin burglaries has been reset for June 28 due to the "voluminous discovery" provided their public attorneys.

Mitchell Raymond Bugge, 37, and Michael Gene Moorhouse, 29, have been incarcerated since their arrests in late May. Each faces numerous counts of Second Degree Burglary in connection with the crime spree that is believed to have occurred between March and May of 2010.

Public defender Jennifer Nelson, who represents Bugge, said in court a plea deal is in the works.

The men are charged with taking hundreds of items including tools, electronics, fishing gear and other items.

According to the criminal complaint, "Bugge stated that he and Moorhouse broke into the residences with the intention of taking property and having a garage sale this summer."
