High-risk sex offender residing in Jamestown

The Jamestown Police Department has announced that a convicted high-risk sex offender is residing in Jamestown.

Loring Riel Sky Rush, 37, lives at 1530 6th Ave. SW, Buffalo Motel, room 23. He does not drive a vehicle.

Rush is currently on GPS monitoring and on probation with the North Dakota Parole and Probation.

Rush was assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, Office of the Attorney General.

Rush was convicted of sexual assault in 2007 in Grand Forks County District Court. He received five years with three years suspended with credit for time served since Sept. 11, 2016. He was also placed on five years supervised probation.
