BISMARCK (AP) -- Gov. John Hoeven is asking the Federal Emergency Management Agency to assess flood damage to public infrastructure in Ward County.
Hoeven said if there is at least $190,000 in damage from Thursday's heavy rains, the county could be added to an existing federal disaster declaration for spring flooding in the state that includes about two dozen counties.
