The James River Humane Society will holds its annual member meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Hardee’s. All members are welcome, and elections for officers and board positions will be held. Any member 18 years of age may vote; anyone interested in running for a position must be a member in good standing for at least six months.

Nominees for executive board positions are: Jill Gilbertson, president; Matt Opsahl, vice president; Dana Wallace, treasurer; Doreen Brophy and Alaina Jerome, secretary; and Jay Nitchke, Shelly Anderson and Bobbi Rode, board positions.

Anyone interested in running for any of these positions is asked to contact one of the individuals on the nominating committee: Rode, 269-5814; Kathy Blouin, 269-1252, or Susanna Rios, (701) 885-9685.

Nominations can also be from the floor the night of the meeting.
