City crews will flush fire hydrants in the southeast and southwest areas of Jamestown starting on Monday, May 22, according to the city water plant.
Hydrant flushing will continue throughout the week and possibly into the following week until finished. The work will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
The possibility of lowered water pressure may occur in the southeast and southwest areas in Jamestown while the work is being done.
Motorists should take alternate routes if possible.
