Construction has begun on westbound lanes of Interstate 94 from Valley City east to the Hill Interchange, according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation.
The three-phase project consists of milling and concrete, approach slabs and guardrail work. The project is expected to be completed late this summer, the NDDOT said.
Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through the construction zone. Traffic may be reduced to one lane at times with reduced speeds and width restrictions.
Flaggers may be present to help direct traffic at times, the NDDOT said.
