A rollover in Golden Valley County Sunday resulted in an injury to the driver, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
Anthony Medina, 42, Beach, N.D., was driving a 2013 Ford Econoline west on Interstate 94 about 13 miles east of Beach at 5:30 p.m., when the van drove onto the north shoulder, the NDHP said. Medina attempted to bring the van back onto the roadway and overcorrected, causing it to cross the roadway into the median and roll, according to NDHP.
The NDHP said Medina, who was wearing a seat belt, was injured and transported by Beach Ambulance to St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center in Beach. The van has severe damage to the top and sides.
The crash remains under investigation. Golden Valley Sheriff's Department, Beach Rural Fire and the North Dakota Game and Fish Department also responded to the scene.
