Raids conducted by the Stutsman County Narcotics Task Force resulted in the seizure of cash and drugs valued at nearly $300,000, according to Chad Kaiser, Stutsman County sheriff.
Kaiser said a search warrant was served at two locations on Dec. 7 and Dec. 8. During the Dec. 7 raid at 1010 Western Park Village officers seized approximately 2 pounds of methamphetamine, several grams of commercial THC products, approximately a half-pound of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms and several pieces of drug paraphernalia for the use and distribution of controlled substances.
A raid on Dec. 8 at 502 13th St SE, No. 7, resulted in the seizure of an additional 2.5 pounds of methamphetamine, approximately a half-pound of marijuana and several pieces of drug paraphernalia.
Arrested in the raids were Joni Scherer, 57, and Mike Scherer, 65, are charged with a variety of drug-related charges and are currently held in the Stutsman County Correctional Center.
