Construction work begins on Tuesday, Mary 18, for the Jamestown 2021 paving district, according to the Jamestown city engineer.
Work is slated for West Business Loop from the bridge to the bottom of Mill Hill (2nd Avenue Southwest to 4th Avenue Southwest), 4th Street Northwest from 8th Avenue Northwest to 17th Avenue Northeast, 1st Street West from 6th Avenue to 8th Avenue Southwest and inside Frontier Village on Louis L’Amour Lane.
Work is anticipated to continue most of the week. Traffic control signs will be placed by the contractor, although motorists in the area asked to use caution or use alternative routes.
