The Jamestown Fire Department extinguished burning grass at Northland Estates Sunday.
The fire call came at about 2 p.m. and was reported as a grassfire behind the mailbox area. Firefighters extinguished a burning pile of grass clippings and cleared the scene at about 2:15 p.m.
