The Jamestown Police Department is asking the public's assistance into an investigation of shots being fired early Thursday, April 30, according to Justin Blinsky, assistant chief of the department.
The incident occurred at about 7:45 a.m. in the 700 block of 2nd Avenue Northeast in Jamestown. An altercation between two males escalated to shots reportedly being fired, Blinsky said. The males were detained by officers and questioned.
The Police Department is asking anyone with information about this incident or anyone who would have home video surveillance footage which shows vehicular travel within a two-block radius of this location contact the Police Department at 701-252-2414.
The incident remains under investigation, Blinsky said.
