Lane reduction begins Dec. 27 in northwest Jamestown

Motorists should take alternate routes if possible.

A planned lane reduction began Tuesday, Dec. 27, in northwest Jamestown due to utility repairs, according to the city engineer's office.

The lane reduction is on the 600 block of 5th Street Northwest/U.S. Highway 52/281. This lane reduction will continue until work is finished which is approximately one week.

Traffic control will be put in place.

Motorists should take alternate routes if possible.
