GENESEO, N.D. (AP) -- A bar here is organizing a benefit ride involving lawnmowers to raise money for the family of a slain Wahpeton soldier.
The registration fee for the July 29 ride from Geneseo to Cayuga is $10, with all proceeds going to the family of David Kuehl, a 27-year-old Army staff sergeant who was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq on May 22.
Organizer Jeff Mund said he thinks up to 300 people will take part in the five-mile ride.
"There's one guy who can't ride (a lawnmower). He's going to put a push lawnmower to the front of his four-wheeler so he can be on the lawnmower run," Mund said.
