The man who died in a convertible rollover near Litchville, N.D., Tuesday was identified by the North Dakota Highway Patrol Wednesday.
Rodney Vaders, 71, of Litchville, was westbound on Barnes County Road 38 when the crash happened about 3:30 p.m., according to the patrol.
Vaders was driving a 1988 Chevrolet Corvette convertible on the paved road when the car gradually drifted into the north ditch where it rotated clockwise and rolled. Vaders was ejected from the vehicle and had not been wearing a seat belt.
The car and driver came to rest in a soybean field.
Damage to the car was estimated at $12,000.
The crash is under investigation.
