The Jamestown Salvation Army will host a Chalk Art Presentation at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 26, at its 320 First Ave. N. location.

The presentation features chalk artist Philip Leach and the Leadership in Training for Evangelism and Service Ministries, of Stanberry, Mo. LITES Ministries is making its third appearance in a little more a year at the local Salvation Army. The text and music of the presentation corresponds to what Leach is drawing with an overall spiritual message, that many of those who attend say is very powerful.

"They did an excellent job the last time they were here," said Maj. Tim Miller. "We appreciate their ministry. Our youth really responded well and enjoyed the message. The chalk talk, music and speaking was very effective."

Leach and LITES Ministries are making an extensive summer tour with appearances in Minnesota, North Dakota, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Oklahoma and Missouri.

The public is invited to attend this free presentation. For more information, call the Salvation Army at 252-0290.
