Jamestown man arrested on suspicion of sexual offenses, police say

The Jamestown Police Department is investigating.

A 35-year-old Jamestown man was arrested Wednesday, Jan. 26, on suspicion of committing several sexual offenses, according to Maj. Justin Blinsky with the Jamestown Police Department.

Christopher John Mueske was arrested for gross sexual imposition, continuous sexual abuse of a child and corruption or solicitation of a minor, Blinsky said. He is in the Stutsman County Correctional Center where he awaits formal charges.

Blinsky said Buffalo Bridges Human Service Zone notified the Jamestown Police Department on Jan. 13 about a possible sexual assault involving a child. After an investigation of the reported incident, several determinations were made that established probable cause that several sexual crimes were allegedly committed against the same child, he said.
