Mosquito fogging set for Wednesday, Aug. 10, in Jamestown

Work to control mosquitoes is expected.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers awarded a $131.5 million contract for the construction of the Pipestem Dam safety modification project.

On Wednesday, Aug. 10, Jamestown crews will be mosquito fogging areas of the city, according to the Street Department's vector control. City crews will begin at approximately 7 p.m. and continue until finished.

Parents are advised to keep children out of the streets and away from the fogging machines.

Motorists are asked to use caution in these areas.
