Road closure in northeast Jamestown to begin Aug. 23

Motorists should take alternate routes if possible.

A road closure will begin Tuesday, Aug. 23, due to utility work in northeast Jamestown, according to the city engineer's office.

The planned road closure will be in an alleyway of 13th Street and 14th Street Northeast between 8th Avenue and 9th Avenue Northeast. The road closure will start at about 7 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, and last until approximately 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24.

Construction signage will be put in place by the city street department.

Motorists should take alternate routes if possible.
