Sex offender relocates in Jamestown

Jesse Johnson has a new address. He is not wanted by law enforcement.

A registered high-risk sex offender has relocated to a new address in Jamestown, the Jamestown Police Department said.

Jesse Owens Johnson, 38, now lives at 519 9th Ave. SE. Johnson does not drive a vehicle.

Johnson has been assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, Office of the Attorney General.

He was convicted in 2017 in Stutsman County District Court of possession of material - sex conduct by minor and gross sexual imposition. Authorities said Johnson had child pornography files, had chats with another person where they were exchanging sexual images of young children and had sexual contact with a 5-year-old girl.

Johnson is not wanted by law enforcement. He is on parole with North Dakota Parole and Probation.
