Stones Cry to perform Sept. 25 at Victory Lutheran Church

The Christian music group will perform at 8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 25.

Stones Cry will perform Sunday, Sept. 25, at Victory Lutheran Church in Jamestown.

The Christian music group will perform at 8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. A freewill offering will be received for Stones Cry.

The music will include worship and inspirational songs in an easy listening style. The ministry started as Sound Of The Trumpet in 1999 and later renamed the group to Stones Cry.

The ministry consists of Joel Finnesgard, his wife of 32 years, June, and their children, Joy, 16, and Josiah, 14.

Joel is still playing the trumpet as well as some bass and electric guitar. June plays the drums and sings. Joy is the lead vocalist on several songs and plays acoustic guitar, violin and keyboard. Josiah fills in on the electric bass, hollow body 12-string electric guitar and does some singing.
