A Luverne, N.D. woman died after a Tuesday rollover accident seven miles south of Luverne, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The patrol said Tamara Lynne Emery, 51, was driving an all-terrain vehicle on her private farmstead around 8:50 a.m. Tuesday when she attempted a turn and the ATV overturned on top of her.
The ATV rolled one complete time and came to rest on its tires. Emery was ejected from the vehicle and suffered serve head injuries and a crushed pelvis, the patrol said.
She was LifeFlighted to MeritCare hospital in Fargo where she died at 6 a.m. Wednesday, the patrol said.
Emery was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
