A Jamestown man was injured in a motorcycle-car accident Monday, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Jeremiah Bjerke, 26, 117 1/2 First St. SW #4, was driving a 1982 Yamaha motorcycle east on 13th Street Northeast through the intersection of 13th Street and Eighth Avenue around 10:20 p.m.
Jamie Kessler, 19, 250 15th Ave. NE, was driving a 1993 Oldsmobile passenger car south on Eighth Avenue Northeast, but did not yield after stopping at the stop sign at the intersection, police said.
Bjerke crashed into Kessler, police said.
Bjerke and his passenger, Carrie Beaman, 24, 713 Third St. SE, were treated for injuries.

Damage was estimated at $1,000 for the Yamaha and $1,000 for the Oldsmobile.
Kessler was cited for failure to yield after stopping. He was not wearing a seat belt.
