A 27-year-old Mandan, N.D., man died early Saturday when the pickup he was driving rolled, the North Dakota Highway Patrol said.
Andrew Lee Dakken was the only occupant of the 2001 Dodge three-quarter ton pickup when the accident happened at 3:25 a.m. on Highway 1806N, 1.3 miles north of Mandan.
The patrol said Dakken was northbound on the highway when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve. The pickup went in the ditch, vaulted an approach then rolled. Dekken, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene, the patrol said.
