The Jamestown Merchants went 3-1 in four games over the weekend, playing games in Aberdeen and at Jack Brown Stadium.
On Saturday, the Merchants defeated Aberdeen 5-4 and lost to Redfield, S.D., 4-3.
Steve Bennion had three hits in the opener Saturday while Shane Schoeneberg added two hits and Jeff Nold drove in two. Camden Kretchman got his first win on the mound while Schoeneberg entered in the sixth and earned a save.
Redfield scored single runs in the first, second, fifth and sixth for a 4-3 win over the Merchants on Saturday.
Jared Purdy and Kevin Dobson each had two hits in the game.

On Sunday, the Merchants rolled to a pair of easy wins, beating Groton, S.D., 13-4 and Britton, S.D., 22-1.
The Merchants hit three home runs, including a three-run shot in the by Purdy in the fourth inning. Bryan Erstad and Nold added solo blasts. Nold and Kevin Gall had three hits each while Robbie Jamison went 2-for-3.
The Merchants launched seven home runs in their final game, a 22-1 rout of Britton.
Erstad clubbed his fifth and sixth homers of the season. Nold also swatted two, while Gall, Purdy and Corey Conway also went deep.
Josh Shaw struck out nine batters over five innings, earning his fourth win.
The Merchants, now 18-6 on the season, play the Jamestown Elks Wednesday in Fargo.
