A Crookston, Minn. woman died June 6 of in injuries sustained in a May 31, Barnes County traffic accident, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
Sylvia Moen, 73, was a passenger in a 2011 Toyota Rav4 driven by Cynthia Moen, 47, Fargo. Cynthia Moen fell asleep at the wheel while traveling eastbound on U.S. Interstate 94 near mile marker 302 at about 3:07 p.m.
Elaine Krogstad, 80, Crookston, and a juvenile were also in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
The car entered the median and struck a culvert.
Cynthia Moen was charged with care required in the accident.

All occupants were extricated from the vehicle and transported to Mercy Hospital, Valley City.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol was assisted by the Barnes County Sheriff’s Office and the Valley City Fire Department.
