BENSON — The Swift County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the man who died Aug. 2 while in custody.
William Delmore, 45, of Bismarck, North Dakota, died in the early morning hours of Aug. 2, according to a news release.
Delmore was arrested by the Benson Police Department on Aug. 1 for driving while impaired.
According to the release, an autopsy was performed by the Midwest Medical Examiner in Anoka County, and the cause and manner of death is still pending.
This incident is still under investigation by the Minnesota Bureau Criminal Apprehension, according to the release.
