MINOT, N.D.-A 24-year-old Minot man accused of firing multiple shots at his drug dealer in a Minot neighborhood last month is now accused of threatening two women Sunday.
Quinn Beau Campbell is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C felony, and menacing, a Class A misdemeanor, from the incident on Sunday. He made an initial appearance in district court in Minot on Monday, where he denied that he wanted to hurt the woman.
"I can go to a hotel," he told Judge Stacy Louser. "...Just so you guys don't think I'm going to hurt her or anything."
According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Campbell allegedly had harassed the two women Sunday afternoon. He had left the apartment complex, but then returned and reportedly threatened both women and said he was going to "murder them." The women believed Campbell was high on drugs and posed a danger to them.
