Matthew Morin, son of Richard and Lori Morin, Jamestown, received the Presidential Honor Award in the amount of $10,000 and the Llyal and RoAnn Hanson and Family Scholarship in the amount of $956 at North Dakota State University. The scholarships recognize students who scored 29 to 31 on the ACT and high academic achievement.
Morin will enter NDSU in the fall and plans to major in dietetics. In high school, he was active in National Honor Society, soccer and Boy Scouts.
