MOORHEAD, Minn. - A North Dakota Highway Patrol trooper is being held in jail on suspicion of domestic assault after an incident here.
Mike Polomny, 40, was arrested Wednesday. He was then booked into the Clay County Jail.
Recently, Polomny was honored for his work in enforcement of impaired driving laws. He also attended Minnesota State University Moorhead, where he was a standout basketball player.
Polomny of Moorhead works for the Highway Patrol out of the agency's Fargo office. After working at a warehouse, he became a trooper in 2003.
