BISMARCK (AP) -- About 50 North Dakota National Guard soldiers are helping with security on the U.S.-Mexican border.
The soldiers with the 816th Engineer Company deployed to Nogales, Ariz., to be part of a task force helping the Border Patrol.
The soldiers are building and improving roads in the area for about three weeks, the Guard said.
The 816th Engineer Company has detachments in Hettinger, Mott, Dickinson and Williston.
