BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) -- The North Dakota Game and Fish Department is urging deer hunters to find their licenses and check them for accuracy.
Officials say that every year, the department's licensing section receives last-minute inquiries from hunters who can't find their licenses. And they say that at the last minute, getting a replacement license in time for the season opener isn't easy.
This year's deer gun season opens at noon on Nov. 4 and runs through Nov. 20.
Game and Fish says hunters should also check their licenses to make sure that the unit and species is what they thought it should be.
