BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) -- Just under $400 million in federal and state disaster assistance has been approved for North Dakota flood victims
The Federal Emergency Management Agency says more than 10,200 people have registered for aid. More than 1,000 people are now living in temporary housing set up by FEMA.
The U.S. Small Business Administration says it has approved more than $238 million in low-interest disaster loans to people and businesses.
The deadline for North Dakotans to apply for help from both FEMA and the SBA is Nov. 21.
