ND man sentenced for breaking into post office

FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- A 30-year-old North Dakota man has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for breaking into a post office and stealing money orders.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- A 30-year-old North Dakota man has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for breaking into a post office and stealing money orders.

A U.S. District Court Judge on Tuesday also ordered to Kalum Joshua Yankton, of St. Michael, to serve three years of supervised release and pay $330 restitution to the post office.

Yankton pleaded guilty in July to breaking into the post office on the Spirit Lake Indian Reservation in May 2010 and conspiracy to convert stolen money orders.
