MANDAN, N.D. (AP) -- Bismarck-Mandan has a case of bad gas, and officials at the Tesoro oil refinery at Mandan are investigating.
Dozens of people have reported having trouble with their vehicles after filling up with gas in the neighboring cities. Tesoro says in a statement that the company is aware of the complaints and looking into the matter.
At least one retailer with stores in Bismarck, Mandan and Washburn has stopped selling 87 octane unleaded. Motorist Trevor Hendrickson of Bismarck tells The Bismarck Tribune that a mechanic who checked out his vehicle told him there was diesel fuel mixed in with the gas.
